	We just got back from Cooperstown, N.Y. where Johnny's team, Rip City, beat the San Diego Hawks in the Cooperstown Diamonds National Championship Tournament. He is between the first place trophy and the MVP trophy that was given to the whole team. It was an exciting tournament. Uncle John And Nicole did it all in Cancun.

Looks like the NYers are having a jammed packed summer.


	Here are a few photos I took at the cottage this summer. The Spanczaks joined us up there for a fun 4th. Hope everyone on the East Coast had fun too!

	Two of them are of our gymnastics team winning first place. The meet that says I Love NY was in Binghamton back around Valentines Day. That was my first meet back from coming off my injury. the other meet, Lilac Invitational was just this past weekend. I also qualified to go to Regionals, which is next weekend in Boston. It is the top qualifiers from 6 other states, and then top 7 in each age group get to go to Nationals, which is the top qualifiers from the whole country. That is in 3 weeks in Florida..lets cross our fingers... The other picture is of Brett' Odyessy of the Mind team. The OM program is where you have this problem that you have to solve through a skit. Their problem was they had to creat a mythalogical creature that had a specal power, and it had to be made out of different parts of animals. Theirs was called MOney Maker, and he made money and he was made out of a pig and a frog. Through this, they had to create a legand about how something was made. They choose the Legend of the ATM. The skit has specail requirments, and they have to make everything theirselves, it acan only be 8 minutes long and they have a $100 budget. Their team took first place in that part. But they also have annother part where they have this problem and theny have like 2 minutes to go around and answer it. There are 4 different catorgories, like verbal, hands on and things like that. An example would be, " Pretend you live in the future and whne you were digging you found this...( a comb) , what do u think it was used for in the past.?" And they would have two minutes to go around and say their answers and they get points on how creative they are. They didn't do so well in this catorgory, so they ended up taking 3rd place all around, which is still very good! -Kailee



	X-Mas Hoops: We've been blessed with some fantastic weather for our recent get togethers. This year in New York there was some major hoops action.

	Uncle Bob makes up for his height with his 6" inch vertical leap. Bob and John had the alley oop tandem going all day. I took the brats (I mean ANGELS) to Kalahari Waterpark over Thanksgiving. They wore me out. There's one ride that makes you feel like your getting flushed down a toilet....what fun!
